ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Hannover Life Reassurance Company of America “Hannover Re US” announces
a new team to continue focused efforts that support carriers’ web,
mobile and digital strategies to meet the demands of today’s consumers
and reach new markets. In addition to working with carriers, the
specialized team works with emerging, high-tech distribution companies
and InsurTech players, vetting their technology and helping them gain
access to insurers that want to modernize the life insurance sales
process, risk assessment, client engagement and back-end analytics.
Accelerated underwriting programs are a critical component of digital
transformation in the life insurance industry. hr | ReFlex, Hannover
Re’s automated/digital underwriting platform, is at the forefront of
supporting accelerated underwriting programs for life insurance
underwriting rules to make the most precise risk assessment decisions at
the point of sale.
“We’ve assembled a leading team with a varied background in
underwriting, product development, pricing, risk management,
distribution, consulting, and strategic planning. Now we bring companies
together that have complementary offerings so that we can execute
innovative solutions and actually get things done for our clients,” said
Vice President, Marketing, Tony Laudato.
With more than 20 years in the insurance industry, Tony joined Hannover
Re in 2012 and currently leads the Partnership Solutions team. Before
joining Hannover Re, Tony served as Chief Product and Innovation Officer
for Clark Consulting and Chief Actuary for The Newport Group. His
additional industry experience includes roles such as the lead pricing
actuary for Lincoln Financial Group’s MoneyGuard and Chief Actuary of
Lincoln Financial’s Executive Benefits business.
Other members of the Partnership Solutions executive leadership team
include Jim McArdle and Mike Reeves.
Jim McArdle joined Hannover Re in May 2016 to head up the product
management and operations of hr | ReFlex. He has over 30 years of
experience in the financial services industry. Before joining Hannover
Re, Jim held leadership roles at SCOR and Transamerica Re in life
reinsurance sales and marketing, automated underwriting and annuity
reinsurance. Also, Jim served in a variety of roles at Transamerica
Corp, Transamerica Commercial Finance and GE Capital, including investor
relations, product management, business development and auditing.
Mike Reeves joined Hannover Re in 2007 and is currently in charge of

hr | ReFlex. He has more than 20 years of combined experience in life
and health insurance and reinsurance. Previously at Hannover Re, Mike
was focused on developing and delivering simplified, automated and
alternative underwriting processes to insurance clients. Mike is a
regular speaker at industry events focusing on innovations and automated
underwriting solutions.
“Our current partnerships with some of the industry’s leading high-tech
innovators enable life insurers to implement digital transformation
faster and with less risk,” said Reeves. “We are particularly excited
about the timing of the Partnership Solutions launch in advance of the
